...super Mario Rpg was unlike any other mario game or role playing game at the time. This paved the way for a 3-D Nintendo themed Rpg. It featured mario, Peach, Bowser, Mallow, and Geno. There was no appearance of luigi in this game but a few easter eggs.
This game only let you go to level 30 unlike the Final Fantasy series which allowed level 99. You learned spells and gained stat points for leveling up. You level up from battling enemies. The whole game consisted basically of returning enemies, stages, and music from mario Bros. 1, 2, 3, and super mario world in a 3-D themed environment.
